The ability for law abiding citizens to be safe and secure in their own homes are dwindling every day.  The following will show why it is important for everyone to be prepared with the skills, gear, training and techniques to be able to defend themselves.

  • Approximately 1 out of every 5 homes in the USA will be broken into.
  • Everyday approximately 5,000 home invasions occur in the USA.
  • Aggravated Assault is the most common violent crime reported in the USA.
  • Larceny – Theft is the most common property crime in the USA.
  • Approximately 60% of all rapes occur in the victims home in the USA.

You need to be prepared when predators strike.  You need to develop  workable, reliable responses to a wide variety of defensive scenarios.  You need to pay attention to your surroundings; if things go bump in the night, your solid, well thought out defensive plan should be put into action.

Self protection is your right and your responsibility.  You need to prepare your home as much as possible against a security breach.  In home defense situations, your attackers can be incredibly violent human beings.  Police response times can vary from place to place; will it take 4 minutes or 40 minutes for them to arrive?

Maintain a confident, self assured mindset that allows you to take action based on preparation and reason.  If you haven’t prepared or thought about a home invasion then you will be caught off guard.  Fortify your home, control your emotions and always be prepared.
