The 12 Gauge pump action shotgun is an extremely effective home defense weapon.  The following are 10 reasons why.

    Tactical use should be, if you are rounding a corner or within proximity of a threat, to hold the muzzle low, because if an aggressor grasps the muzzle and pushes down, you can move the shotgun buttstock down low and fire. If the muzzle is pointed up and an aggressor grasps the muzzle and raises it, firing the weapon at the aggressor will be more difficult. Port arms, muzzle slightly held low, across your chest area. Practice in a safe outdoor area, unloaded and confirmed empty weapon with the action open during practice. If you need assistance, contact a certified instructor.
