So you’ve looked outside and zombies are everywhere.  Here are ten ways to survive the zombie apocalypse if you ever find yourself in that scenario.

  1. Stay quiet.  Zombies are attracted to noise.  Even if you want to scream, or shout or yell, don’t do it.
  2. Do not travel alone or at night especially if you are on foot.
  3. Have a safe, secure, well fortified location to live.
  4. Have plenty of guns, ammo, clubs, knives, tomahawks and other sharp weapons just in case you have to dispatch a zombie or two from time to time.  Remember it takes damage to the head and brain to kill them.
  5. Have food, water, medical supplies and other essential survival gear stocked up.
  6. Stay in shape physically, mentally and emotionally.
  7. Be careful whom you trust.  People aren’t always what they appear to be.
  8. Have a primary, secondary and tertiary survival plan.
  9. Observe proper light and noise discipline.
  10. It will be easier to survive if you are with a group of people that you trust; and can be relied upon when the SHTF.

Some of you are perhaps familiar with my post apocalyptic/survival fiction books; and not long ago I decided to start working on a zombie fiction book series.  The result is my first zombie fiction book entitled Biohazard Redacted Book 1 of the Zombie Apocalypse.  The storyline is as follows.

The zombie apocalypse has officially begun when Creedmoor Chemical begins dumping their failed medical cure all drug CRAv3 into the ground. Its unintended consequence is the reanimation of the recently deceased. As the zombie infection spreads; Tim is forced to leave his home and fend off not only deadly zombie attacks, but also the evils that man instigates against man. The following is Tim’s written record of events as he tries to stay alive and maintain his humanity; in a world decimated by the flesh eating zombie hordes. This is Book 1 in the Biohazard Redacted series.

All of my books are available at Amazon.com and a free preview is available by clicking on the book cover images on the left side of my blog page.  If you like what you see consider purchasing a copy. Below is a sample of the new book cover.

A stunning example of the failure of our educational system when students go out into the world and get a job.

Some of my readers have asked what books am I working on next?  Well I’m glad they asked.  In about three weeks my first zombie fiction book will be available entitled Biohazard Redaction, Book 1 of the Zombie Apocalypse.  That will be followed up by more books in this new, continuing zombie series.

I’m also continuing to work on my existing series of post apocalyptic fiction books; already available at Amazon.com which so far is comprised of American Rebellion Book 1 of the Revolution, American Rebellion Book 2 of the Revolution, American Rebellion Book 3 of the Revolution, American Rebellion Book 4 of the Revolution and American Rebellion Book 5 of the Revolution.  Much further down the road I also plan on doing a fictional serial killer mystery series as well; so my writing plate is full.

My American Rebellion series continues to sell very well but of course getting folks to leave any reviews (good reviews preferred) lol is an uphill battle.  But book sales have far exceeded my expectations so I’m thankful for that; and to my loyal readers who take the time to contact me and express their likes and dislikes.  Again I appreciate all of my readers very much.  Thanks for sharing this journey with me.

A home defense bag is a gear bag where everything you need to defend yourself and your family is kept in one convenient location.  I have mine set up; and each night before bed I place it in the bedroom just in case it’s needed.  The bag shown below is the one I currently use made by a company called 511. I tend to try different ones at times but I keep coming back to the original one shown below.  It can carry a lot of gear such as spare handgun mags, spare ammo, first aid kit, flashlights, batteries, shotgun shells, fixed blade knife, etc. etc.  If you need everything in one place to protect yourself if your home is burglarized; the home defense bag is a necessary item to have.

You can get a free preview of my first five post apocalyptic fiction survival books by clicking on the book cover images to the left of this blog post, on my blog page, which will take you to the Amazon.com website. Then you can click on the look inside option which will give you a free preview.  If my survival fiction books interest you; then consider purchasing them.  Book titles include American Rebellion Book 1 of the Revolution, American Rebellion Book 2 of the Revolution, American Rebellion Book 3 of the Revolution, American Rebellion Book 4 of the Revolution and American Rebellion Book 5 of the Revolution.
