Liberals Do Not Live In The Real World When It Comes To Guns and Cooking

Only liberal democrats could think that restricting magazines to hold only ten bullets, when it comes to home defense and self defense is a good idea.  Highly trained police offers in Watertown expended over 200 bullets in order to get their terror suspect.  Now imagine you are woken up in the middle of the night by armed thugs breaking into your home.  You have to become instantly alert from a sound sleep, worry about your life and your families lives and also stop the imminent threat that armed criminals pose to your safety.  I don’t know about you but having more than ten rounds in your weapons mag seems like a better idea to me when it comes to self defense.

Oh and on a related subject; what agency is going to be responsible for collecting fees and registering my woodland camo tactical military cooking pot?  Is it still okay to take my cooking pot across state lines or do I need a travel and transport permit?  And will the permit I have to afix to said cooking pot clash with the decorative woodland camo pattern 🙂  I wonder how many liberals in Watertown when the terror incident shootout occurred suddenly wanted to own a firearm and learn to be proficient with it.  Calling 911 is great but if it takes law enforcement 20 minutes to arrive and your life is in danger now; 20 minutes can seem like an eternity.

Make certain that your documents for Class-III Pressure Cookers, are up to date.

I was bemoaning just recently the fact that yes, I can build a car that will get 100 mpg for under $10,000 (if I have the skill/know-how) but I have to pay a hefty price to get a permit to manufacture bio-fuel at home – – apparently, they are easily mistaken for stills….
    🙂
And, on a lighter note, I really hope we all become such proficient shots that 10 is plenty unless the armed thugs number 6 or more…
    😛

the restrictions on you pressure cooker are no pistol grip and can only hold a five pound roast maximum or its a class three weapon. .

It is amazing to me the lack of logic and reasoning in the “debates” about guns. By the time I get to the point in a discussion about how gun control doesn’t control anything but law abiding citizens, the name calling starts.

The key is to have conversations that are viewed by many, so that some might come away with new ways of seeing the situation. AND, stay calm and on topic. Since I have begun not taking “redirection bait,’ the name calling has begun much sooner, but is more transparent to others reading the discussion. I hope it’s enough to wake some people up! Not holding my breath, though. 😛

Gun owner have been responsibly conducting their business. Liberals have not. The heart of the matter is whether one wishes to damage the Bill of Rights, and will not be happening without bullets flying, so curtail any of that, calling Liberal Socialist Traitors what they are, is more civilized and, is profoundly a lawful exercise of one’s First Amendment rights. The liberals are pushing the issue, gun owners are simply stocking up on guns and ammunition, lawfully exercising Second Amendment rights. If the US Constitution is Opened, then there is no president, not government, and no laws. You don’t need any of that.

I’ve always believed the world would be a much better place if everyone just agreed with me on everything 🙂

      • Holli says:

Well, let me ponder on that. If everyone agreed with you, they’d be free to live their lives as they saw fit. They’d have a duty to support the pains of liberty, and remain engaged in government activity and vigilant to tyranny creeping in.

People would elect leaders that would follow the Constitution and know that their duty is to protect the inalienable rights of each individual.

If everyone agreed with you, they’d know it’s good to plan for the worst. They’d agree that charity is an individual thing, and cannot be done by government – since that becomes legalized theft.

        Shoot, I think you’re right!!! 😀

It’s nice to be right every once in awhile lol 🙂

I think what is missing, is that these same politicians who want to limit the citizens of this country to 10 rounds per mag, should also insist that their bodyguards and other protective service personnel assigned to their well being follow the same guidelines that they have outlined for the rest of us.
