What I Don’t Understand About The Zombie Apocalypse

Here’s what I don’t understand about the zombie apocalypse.  No matter how many days, weeks or months go by; whenever you see zombies on TV or in the movies, the lawns always look maticulously cared for or are freshly mowed.  Who are these mysterious bands of survivors who avoid the zombie packs every day yet still find time to mow all the lawns in the neighborhood.  What grit and determination they have to keep their neighborhoods looking prim and proper while the flesh eating undead are everywhere trying to devour them.  I give thanks to these humble keepers of the lawns during the time of the zombie apocalypse 🙂

I’ve noticed the same thing. If I remember correctly, Romero’s Land of the Dead gas station scene looked pretty unkept. I guess the grounds maintenance crew took the week off.

Maybe it is all that shuffling around keeping the grass low?
