Based upon the evidence as presented and discounting the lamestream media spin; I don’t see how this man can possibly be found guilty as the prosecuton did not present evidence beyond a reasonable doubt. Therefore I would say that an innocent verdict would be the correct decision here.  To me, based on the evidence, this is a clear case of self defense and charges should never have been brought in the first place. What’s you opinion?

From laws in New York State/New York City, I can only give a viewpoint based upon these. Civilian or Citizen Patrols, are in the role expressly limited to observe and report. They can never engage unless there is immediate threat of serious physical injury or death of a third party and that must, if action is taken, be done without placing themselves in a position of personal injury or risk of death. They may not be armed while on patrol. Looking at the incident from only knowledge of New York laws, Zimmerman is the aggressor. Questions of premeditation to commit murder are also a concern, from a New York law point of view. Florida laws.., I have no idea. How any of this will pan out, is anyone’s guess. Aftermath problems, no matter what the verdict, will not be pleasant, and will be unmerited, as this is the reason matters are brought before a court of law. That’s how the wheels turn.

Florida law from my understanding pertaining to stand your ground differs from New York Law. Based on the evdence it appears to me that a verdict of not guilty is in order although I think the evidence was insufficient to even file charges in the first place.

      • Brittius says:

Ok. This I would take into consideration and I hear a few different stories giving account from the possible, to the improbable, from people that think, they know the Stand Your Ground Law in Florida, but I honestly do not know. In fact, it may be possible that many people running around looking for an opportunity to commit riot, may also be applying laws from areas other than, the State of Florida. A few other things come into play, that I am not aware of how they fit, in Florida.

I just hope the jury decides the case based on the law and the merits and not on some politically correct notion of what the media portrays justice as being or to avoid riots or backlash.

    Not Guilty.

    It was self defense.

Political Correct BS coupled with Racism !
If it was a white boy shot by a black guy, it would barely make the papers.

    • rmactsc says:

You are correct. Hopefully the jurors will follow the law and not let emotions or political correctness cloud their judgement. Based on the facts it is self defense therefore a not guilty verdict would be the correct decision.
