The following is the best example I know to show the difference between  liberals and Conservatives.  A television show comes on which some people might find offensive.  A liberal will immediately seek to propose legislation to ban that show from being aired so that no one can watch it while a Conservative will simply change the channel.  The moral of the story is that liberals want to decide what is best for everyone based on their narrow range of values; where as Conservatives prefer to let individuals make their own choices.  So stand up now for your Conservative values and let’s get this nation back on the proper course.

I am a proud Conservative and here are some Conservative principles that folks might want to consider.

  • The money that the government uses does not belong to the government; it belongs to the taxpayers.
  • Government that governs best is the one that governs least.
  • Big government is the problem.  People solve problems; governments don’t.
  • Large, out of control governments throughout history are responsible for more murders of citizen’s than all of the battlefield wars combined historically.
  • Wealth is created by the private sector; when governments get out of the way so people can strive for success unencumbered.
  • Government social programs encourage dependency, create a nanny state and crush self reliance and independence.
  • Governments role according to the Constitution is to provide for National Defense.
  • Human rights are inherent and automatic and come from God, not from the government.
  • The right to self defense is guaranteed by the 2nd Amendment and protects all the other rights afforded by the Constitution.
  • The United States is a Constitutional Republic; not a pure democracy and it is important to know the difference.

Mitt Romney absolutely destroyed Obama in the 1st Presidential debate last night.  It was a victory of epic proportions and one can clearly see that Mitt Romney is clearly the superior candidate in both ideas and statesmanship.  America badly needs a course correction and Mitt Romney is just the candidate, when elected President to get this country back on track.  With Mitt Romney as President America can once again become the great nation it deserves to be.
