Government shutdown; it’s about time. As a nation we have never been further apart on the political spectrum then we are currently. When the government is the nations largest employer and half of the population is on some type of assistance then clearly liberal politics don’t work. We need to go back to conservative principles of self reliance and achievement through success and pulling yourself up by your own bootstraps. We have become a nation of what can I get for free instead of what do I have to do in my life to achieve and earn what I want. Governent shutdown; please proceed.

Once a month I thought I would place a question on my blog for discussion and debate. So without further delay here is the question for the month of May, 2013.
If unemployment was actually calculated correctly to include both those receiving unemployment benefits and those who have dropped off the benfits rolls; what would the actual unemployment rate be in your estimation, and do you expect the economy to get better, worse or remain unchanged as 2013 progresses? Looking forward to hearing what you think.
