America is in a state of decline.  It’s obvious and the following 10 things need to change immediately in order to get this country of ours back on track.  Here are those things.

  1. The media must relearn the basics of reporting.  The lamestream media twists the truth and incorrectly reports so many things that they can no longer be trusted to report the truth.
  2. Politicians must get back to supporting and preserving the ideals as set forth in the Constitution.
  3. Liberalism must be stopped before it further destroys the nation.  Liberal ideas are an anathema to the great things America used to be able to achieve.
  4. Welfare must be ended.  Anyone who spends their entire life on welfare and is proud of it should be ashamed of themselves but unfortunately they seem to revel in it.
  5. Americans who don’t have a work ethic must develop one and take pride in their achievements and successes.  You cannot expect others to provide for you when you are perfectly capable of providing for yourself.
  6. Honor, integrity and ethics must be restored.  We need to stop catering to and pandering to those in the media spotlight whose bad behavior is constantly rewarded.
  7. Those who try to take away our rights to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness and who seek to destroy our Constitutional rights need to be exposed for who they really are and if in politcal office they need to be voted out.
  8. Common sense needs to be restored to politics, the media, and individuals as they go about their daily lives.
  9. Personal Responsibility needs to be the backbone of every individual when it comes to living their lives.
  10. Support and defend the Constition of the United States of America.  Anyone trying to pass laws contra to the constitution should be brought up on criminal charges.

During a natural disaster, or civil unrest, or rioting, or martial law, etc., Keep in mind that a survival situation will effect everyone’s survival and not just yours.  It is important to minimize your struggles in order to maximize your survival chances.  The following are some important considerations to be aware of.

  • Allow extra time to accomplish your goals during a disaster as it will usually take longer to get to your destination or complete your plan or project.
  • Information is critical so use it to your advantage.  Make sure it is up to date and accurate.
  • Have sufficient modes of transportation and reserve fuel for yourself, your family and your supplies.
  • Utilize all available skills as needed and keep an accurate inventory of your gear, food and other resources.
  • Security, security, security.  Increase your security level as disasters will often bring out the worst in people.  Your security and safety is critical to your survival chances.

There are three types of folks.  Those who will do nothing to prepare for their survival and immediately surrender to circumstances, those who will do whatever it takes to survive even if their actions are immoral and unethical and those who will do what is necessary to survive while retaining their morals and ethics.  Try to be part of the 3rd group of folks.

If things do get bad you need to be prepared to defend yourself not only for your own survival but for those other family members who may also be depending upon you for their survival as well.  It can be a dangerous world when disaster strikes so be prepared and proficient in your survival skills.

Everyone needs to draw a line in the sand for what they will and will not tolerate.  Here is my list of things I will not tolerate.

  • Anyone who tells me my political beliefs are wrong.  I am proud to be a Conservative Republican and truly believe that Conservative ideals are the way to go.
  • Anyone who tries to take away my second amendment rights to keep and bear arms.  I am a proud gun owner who trains and practices on a regular basis and who takes pride in my target shooting skills.
  • Anyone who does not prepare for disasters; and then expects others to drop everything to help them when they could have helped themselves.
  • Anyone with a welfare/entitlement mentality.  While I understand everyone goes through hard times at certain points in their lives; it is up to each individual to pull themselves up by their bootstraps and go on to achieve something worthwhile.
  • Anyone who is a racist.  There is no room for racism and no excuse for anyone who engages in racist tirades or racist hatred.  Hating others because of their race, creed, religion or origin is simply wrong thinking.
  • Anyone without morals or values.  It is not hard to do the right thing so make sure when the situation presents itself; that you choose to do the right thing.
  • Anyone engaging in violent crime.  You are the scum of the earth and you can expect to receive a just punishment.  Karma has a way of balancing the scales.

Life is meant to be lived and enjoyed to the fullest.  You should live the way you want, work at something you enjoy doing, reside where you want and get as much satisfaction from life as possible.  Along with that however, it is also prudent to be prepared for situations in life where things are contra to your best interests.  Disasters such as social unrest, war, famine, societal collapse, escalations in violent crime, etc., are just some of the things that in this day and age are of concern to many.  So, along with enjoying the good times, it is also important to prepare for the bad times.

The following are the things I consider most important for preparing for your own survival.

  • There is no such thing as having too much canned food or water set aside.  If disaster strikes, grocery stores may not be available to supplement your needs.  You must maintain a minimum of 3 months worth of food and water per person.
  • Yes, yes, yes you must have a sufficient amount of guns and ammunition and be well versed in their use.  You may have sufficient quantities of emergency supplies, but if others try and forcibly take them, you must be able to hold onto what you have.
  • People can and will panic during disasters so avoid large crowds and any areas subject to martial law and or rioting.  Use common sense and good judgement in deciding whom to trust.
  • Always keep  small amounts of cash on hand.  A disaster may render ATM’s and credit card systems useless.  If so, cash or barter may be the only ways to immediately conduct business.
  • Take responsibility for your own survival.  Ability without character is useless.  Remain moral and ethical during times of crisis.
