“A Country Founded by Geniuses and Run by Idiots

If you can get arrested for hunting or fishing without a license, but not for being in the country illegally … you might live in a country founded by geniuses and run by idiots.

If you have to get your parents’ permission to go on a field trip or take an aspirin in school, but not to get an abortion … you might live in a country founded by geniuses and run by idiots.

If you have to show identification to board an airplane, cash a check, buy liquor, or check out a library book, but not to vote for who runs your government … you might live in a country founded by geniuses and run by idiots.

If your government wants to ban stable, law-abiding citizens from owning gun magazines with more than ten rounds, but gives 20 F-16 fighter jets to the crazy new leaders in Egypt … you might live in a country founded by geniuses and run by idiots.

If, in the largest city, you can buy two 16-ounce sodas, but not a 24-ounce soda because 24-ounces of a sugary drink might make you fat … you might live in a country founded by geniuses and run by idiots.

If an 80-year-old woman can be strip-searched by the TSA but a woman in a hijab is only subject to having her neck and head searched … you might live in a country founded by geniuses and run by idiots.

If your government believes that the best way to eradicate trillions of dollars of debt is to spend trillions more … you might live in a country founded by geniuses and run by idiots.

If a seven year old boy can be thrown out of school for saying his teacher “is cute,” but hosting a sexual exploration or diversity class in grade school is perfectly acceptable … you might live in a country founded by geniuses and run by idiots.

If children are forcibly removed from parents who discipline them with spankings while children of addicts are left in filth and drug infested “homes”… you might live in a country founded by geniuses and run by idiots.

If hard work and success are met with higher taxes and more government intrusion, while not working is rewarded with EBT cards, WIC checks, Medicaid, subsidized housing, and free cell phones … you might live in a country founded by geniuses and run by idiots.

If your government’s plan for getting people back to work is to incentivize NOT working with 99 weeks of Unemployment checks and no requirement to prove they applied but can’t find work … you might live in a country founded by geniuses and run by idiots.

If you pay your mortgage faithfully, denying yourself the newest big screen TV while your neighbor buys iPhones, TVs and new cars, and your government forgives his debt when he defaults on his mortgage … you might live in a country founded by geniuses and run by idiots.”

America is in a state of decline.  It’s obvious and the following 10 things need to change immediately in order to get this country of ours back on track.  Here are those things.

  1. The media must relearn the basics of reporting.  The lamestream media twists the truth and incorrectly reports so many things that they can no longer be trusted to report the truth.
  2. Politicians must get back to supporting and preserving the ideals as set forth in the Constitution.
  3. Liberalism must be stopped before it further destroys the nation.  Liberal ideas are an anathema to the great things America used to be able to achieve.
  4. Welfare must be ended.  Anyone who spends their entire life on welfare and is proud of it should be ashamed of themselves but unfortunately they seem to revel in it.
  5. Americans who don’t have a work ethic must develop one and take pride in their achievements and successes.  You cannot expect others to provide for you when you are perfectly capable of providing for yourself.
  6. Honor, integrity and ethics must be restored.  We need to stop catering to and pandering to those in the media spotlight whose bad behavior is constantly rewarded.
  7. Those who try to take away our rights to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness and who seek to destroy our Constitutional rights need to be exposed for who they really are and if in politcal office they need to be voted out.
  8. Common sense needs to be restored to politics, the media, and individuals as they go about their daily lives.
  9. Personal Responsibility needs to be the backbone of every individual when it comes to living their lives.
  10. Support and defend the Constition of the United States of America.  Anyone trying to pass laws contra to the constitution should be brought up on criminal charges.

Once a month I thought I would place a question on my blog for discussion and debate.  So without further delay here is the question for the month of April, 2013.

Do you think based on either economics, political divisions, domestic policy and or foreign policy that a 2nd Civil War is coming to the United States?  Looking forward to hearing what you think.

One of my readers commented that they have noticed the following in my books. 1 – That I provide real survival tips and strategies into a fictional story:  Yes, I do as although the stories are fiction; the survival tips are real and are there for the purposes of sharing skills. 2 – That many of the things I write in my books which started out as fiction; have started to come true, via the legislation and choices our elected liberal officials who trample the Constitution are making:  That too is by design as in studying the path we are on as a country; it wasn’t hard to write my fiction post apocalyptic/survival books with an eye towards what the future might hold.  I hope you will read my books and share your comments about them either here or at Amazon.com where you can leave a review.  Positive reviews preferred 🙂

There are many important things to know about freedom, government and being an American.  Below are some of what I consider to be the most important ones.

  • Your elected representatives could care less about your opinions and interests unless of course you are a major financial donor.
  • Governments will use fear as a weapon and by doing so, create real or imagined threats that they will claim only the government can solve.
  • Never waive or give up your rights under any circumstances.
  • Strangers are just that, strangers, so do not engage in talking to them about anything private or sensitive.
  • Never make an assumption that an expert is really an expert.
  • If you have fundamental differences with certain people it is a waste of time to argue issues, politics or philosophies with them.
  • Avoid the victim mentality.  Take responsibility for your decisions.
  • Consider nothing as true until you verify it.
  • Freedom means never having to beg the government for your fundamental rights.
  • It is okay not to respect a political office if you don’t respect the person in that office.
  • Draw your line in the sand so that you know what you will and what you won’t tolerate.

Those who seek to ban the 2nd Amendment rights of law abiding citizen’s are traitors.  Nothing more, nothing less.

There is a great disturbance these days in the Constitutional force.  If you haven’t noticed; although many of us have, there is a movement afoot to legislate and pass as many unconstitutional laws as possible.  The liberal mantra of let’s ignore the Constitution and pass whatever legislation we want is alive and well; as they figure the average voter will be too concerned with what Kim Kardashian is doing on her TV show to bother to care about their individual rights and freedoms being systematically taken away.  Pay attention voters; if the course of this country is not changed soon then America as most of us know it and remember it will be gone and in its place will be the United States Soviet Socialist Republic.  Stand tall freedom loving Americans or our freedoms will soon be gone.
