If anyone tells you that you have to take your American flag down then tell them to “shove it.  This flag will remain flying.”  This political correctness nonsense has got to stop.

Citizen’s of America!  And those of you whom this post applies to already know who you are.  You’ve got to toughen up.  You need to stop being so offended by every little thing that someone says.  We have free speech in this country and the political correctness crowd needs to stop trying to restrict it.  I’m a firm believer in the mantra of if you have something to say then just say it.  That is and should continue to be the American way; unencumbered by the touchy, whiney, sissy, political correctness movement.

Everyone at some point in their lives has been called a deragotory name or insulted in some way.  Get over it!  That is no excuse for not achieving whatever it is you want to achieve or for blaming others for your failures.  Toughen up, fix whatever it is in your life that is holding you back and get on with living.  You are responsible for what you decide your life is going to be, so stop blaming everyone else because your feelings were hurt.

Political correctness; it’s just so wrong in so many ways.  If you have something to say just say it. Don’t sugar coat it because someones feelings might get a little ruffled.  We need to stop pandering to those who can’t bear to hear the truth or who have a false sense of being offended over every little thing.

It’s ridiculous to think we need to protect everyone’s sensative ears from every little word that is uttered.  If you’re offended by free speech then you need to grow a backbone and toughen up.  I for one will say what I want to say and if you don’t like it then don’t listen.  We are turning into a nation of wimps who have no character.  Speak your mind and let the chips fall where they may.

A criminal is a criminal, they are not behaviorally challenged.  Failure is failure, it is not deferred success.  An illegal alien is an illegal alien, they are not undocumented workers.  Insane people are insane, they are not selectively perceptive.  A junkie is a junkie, they are not a substance abuse victim.  A bum is a bum, they are not a displaced homeowner.

As for me political correctness is nothing more than a failed attempt to eliminate stigma from certain social and political scenarios.  Maybe if more social stigma was applied instead of less, than people would stop behaving in anti social, immoral ways.  Remember personal responsibility is personal responsibility regardless of what the politically correct crowd would have you think.

Forget all that liberal/progressive nonsense that profiling is wrong.  Profiling can save your life and should be used as an effective situational awareness tool.  Profiling is not a bad thing; in fact it is ingrained into the human species as part of our instinctive genetic makeup.

If you doubt this let’s consider the following example.  You are going to visit a friend in an apartment building late at night.  While waiting in the lobby you push the button for the two elevators that are there; and they both come down at the same time.  When the doors open; in one elevator are six old ladies, none of whom get off the elevator, who are smiling and well mannered.  In the second elevator are six men dressed in gang colors who also do not get off the elevator, and they are covered with tatoos and look really pissed at the world.  Which elevator are you going to get into?

The answer is obvious; you are going to get into the elevator with the old ladies.  Congratulations; profiling has just potentially saved you from being raped, robbed,  assaulted,  beaten, or killed.  Political correctness is pure nonsense and anyone who believes in the notion of political correctness is free to get on the other elevator with the gang members and take their chances.
