Violent crime is everywhere which is why the right of the people to keep and bear arms and the ability to defend yourself and your family is so very important.
The following may open some peoples eyes as to why you need to be able to defend yourself against thugs and violent predators.
- Home invasions in the United States occur every 13 seconds.
- 59% of burglaries occur during the day and 41% of burglaries occur at night.
- Violent crime increased by 22% according to the Justice Department.
- For the fourth year in a row Detroit tops the list of most dangerous U.S. cities followed by Washington DC.
- Traditionally violent crime increases during the warmer months and decreases during the colder months.
- What do burglars and violent criminals fear even more than the police? Encountering an armed homeowner during a break in.
- Residential homes are where 60% of rapes occur.
- Rapes in the United States occur every 2 minutes.
- If you can make a 911 call the average response time for police depending on your area is between 11-24 minutes. A lot of violent things can happen to a person during that period of time.
Now more than ever it is so important to legally own firearms and get proper training in their use especially as applies to self defense scenarios. Do what you need to do to keep you and your family safe and out of harms way.

You might want to consider working in a little fact I learned from the FBI websites into your blog. Every day, 2300 people in the USA go missing. Over a year, that nearly 839,000+ or 900,000 people. Protect yourself from being a statistic. You deserve better.
Thank you for that information. I will check it out and work it in. Thanks again.
I know this is a serious subject brother but I have to share what just happen. My wife just looked at the photos of the ladies and the first thing that came out of mouth, “Oh My God, their instructor must be bad – look at those women they got their hand on the trigger!” Oh course I kept my mouth shout …
“…train hard, you’ll not only be hard, you’ll be hard to beat.” Herschel Walker
I noticed that as well and was curious if anyone else would pick up on it. See how pictures of beautiful women can so easily distract 🙂 It took me awhile to notice it as well.
